JET SET
Newest Additions to Our Fleet
|
We're excited about the outstanding new aircraft
that are joining our fleet. These new additions include a Citation
Ultra, two Hawker 800XPs, a Learjet 60XR, and a Cessna Citation CJ3.
We've got all the details here. Or better yet, see for yourself on your
next flight with us.
Few small private jets can compare to the Citation
Ultra in terms of cabin dimensions, speed, and takeoff distance. The
cabin holds up to eight passengers and is the longest of any light
private jet. Passengers enjoy cabins equipped with individual flat panel
entertainment systems and audio jacks (an optional feature). The Ultra
has storage space for twenty-six cubic feet of baggage, or about six
hundred pounds worth of golf bags, suitcases, or whatever else
passengers choose to bring along.
Designed for transcontinental and international
flights, the Hawker 800XP has a four-person club section, a three-person
divan and one forward-facing seat. The seats are fully adjustable and
can swivel 360°. Cabin noise levels are very low and the baggage
compartments are accessible in-flight.
The midsize Learjet 60XR excels in performance
against competitors in its class while offering outstanding fuel
efficiency. It seats six in a four-seat club arrangement and two
additional forward-facing seats. The galley and aft baggage areas are
larger than previous models, and the cabin also features control modules
and electronic power ports.
The Cessna Citation CJ3 is an extremely
fuel-efficient aircraft despite the fact that its luggage compartment
can hold up to 74.4 cubic feet of luggage. It seats six passengers in
the almost 21- foot cabin that boasts multiple power outlets and folding
writing tables for more productive travel.

INSIDE DELTA PRIVATE JETS
Jim Segrave, President
Many people look to the New Year as a time to make
resolutions. They promise to get in shape, work harder, or maybe even
work less. But far too often all those resolutions don't last very long
past New Year's Day.
Instead of making resolutions, at Delta Private Jets
we prefer to always stay on top of our game. To be proactive as we
continue to offer you the absolute best in private jet travel. It's why
we've added the option of a $200,000 card and rewards for referrals.
It's why we're adding five additional jets to give you greater options
as your travel needs change. And it's why we're continuing our
partnership with Exclusive Resorts, so that they can continue to
introduce you to the very best in vacation experiences.
So instead of making new resolutions, we'll continue
to work hard every day to deliver exceptional comfort and ease of
travel for you. It's not only what you've come to expect from us. But
much more importantly, what you deserve.
Thanks for reading. And Happy New Year.

PILOT PROFILE
Meet Brian LaMaster, CVG
He's a veteran pilot with nineteen years of
commercial experience. His love of flying extends to the classroom,
where he holds a BS in Aerospace Administration from Indiana State. Once
the kids are out of school, he hopes to find the time to add seaplane
and glider pilot ratings to his already impressive list of credentials.
When did you first say, "I want to be a pilot"?
I got a job at 16 years old at the local airport
fueling and towing airplanes. Being around them all day, I got hooked.
What's your favorite type of aircraft to fly?
I'll always have a place in my heart for the Lear
35, my first jet. But the Challenger 604 is a much more comfortable
plane, and with a 4,000 mile range, we get to see a lot more of the
world.
What's your favorite route to fly?
Europe trips are especially nice, and Rome is my
favorite layover. It amazes me that you can be sitting at a traffic
light, look over and see a stone column that's been laying there by the
side of the road for 2,000 years. There's nothing 'old' in comparison
here in the U.S.A.
What's the best thing about working for Delta Private Jets?
Definitely the people. I have a tremendous amount of
respect for my bosses, and those with which I work, some of whom I've
known for 13 years. Their professionalism is second to none.
What's the most exotic airport you've ever flown into?
Palau, Micronesia, in 2002, with a fuel stop in
Petropavlovsk, Russia. Flying over the Pacific Ocean makes crossing the
Atlantic seem like flying over a river! It's something I'll remember the
rest of my life. The scuba diving was incredible.
